Purchase and installation rebate

Benefit from a rebate when replacing your natural gas heating system

Énergir customers wishing to replace their heating system are eligible for a rebate of $300 on purchase and installation costs of the new natural gas appliance. This is our way of helping you enjoy the benefits of natural gas.*

High-efficiency appliance grant

To help you use energy wisely, Énergir offers a $900 grant when you choose a high-efficiency condensing boiler. Unlike a standard boiler, it minimizes energy losses and helps you reduce your consumption.1  Eligible appliances (PDF)

IMPORTANT: To benefit from the high efficiency due to condensation, the boiler must be installed on a heating system that provides a return water temperature to the boiler of 55 °C (131 °F) or less. The indoor/outdoor control of temperature via an external sensor also optimizes the operation of the boiler for space heating applications.

Terms

* Certain conditions apply. The amount of  financial incentive is determined according to the expected consumption of natural gas, the type of equipment to be installed and the total investment. Signing of a 5 year natural gas contract is required.  The grants are not available for houses with a heat-pump or with a dual energy heating system, and the house can not be part of a new housing construction. Eligibility criteria are foreseen in the texts of the Rebate Consumption Program approved by the Régie de l'énergie and a copy can be transmitted on request.
** In order to qualify for this grant, you must contractually commit withÉnergir or aÉnergir Authorized Partner prior to your high efficiency appliances’ installation. The total grant amount must not exceed admissible amounts. Some restrictions apply. The conditions of the program and the amount of the grants are subject to change without notice.
